Route 66 commemorative watch & CD set, 1993: This cool watch is packaged in a padded vinyl case (with gold print) and is accompanied by a CD containing an interview and performance of the song "Route 66" by Bobby Troup. The colorful watch face features an animated wheel of "sign posts" (with the names of cities along Route 66) that turns as the hour hand turns, so you can watch the cites pass by, as the day moves along. The slogan "Get Your Kicks On Route 66" appears on the watch face. Everything is original, including the brown leather band. Complete with original paper work, including the warranty and two informative folders. The padded case still has the original cardboard sleeve that features a map of Route 66. A new battery has been installed and the watch is working fine. Everything is in like new condition, showing no wear to speak of. I have worn it less than a dozen times, since 1993. The watch was produced by the Rich Collection. $35.
