This Art Deco, copper tray measures 3 inches square and comes complete with the original box. The ashtray features a 3-D relief illustration of the Chrysler Motors Building which stood at the Expo. The lettering on the ashtray reads, "A Century of Progress, Chicago, 1933, Chrysler Motors: Plymouth, Dodge, Desoto, Chrysler." The original box is still present and also features a printed version of the illustration. The back side of the box is set up as a mailing label and calls for 1-1/2 cent stamp for postage. The ashtray is in NEAR MINT condition, with just some faint spotting that might polish out on a buffing wheel. The box is in FAIR CONDITION, as the bottom flap is missing and there are two tiny tears. An excellent display piece and a perfect gift for a World's Fair Collector. This would also make an excellent ECONO-GIFT for Christmas or birthdays.
