Here's an unusual advertising promotional item: It is a real scorpion, sealed in a clear resin block that measure 3 inches long. The background is black with silver glitter. It has a small imprint, near the bottom, reading "BOP86".  The resin has been fitted with the hardware to make it into a working bola tie. The bola string is silver with metal tips in a silver finish. The bola tie was a promotional item from the Phoenix New Times Newspapers to promote their Best of Phoenix issue that year.  Mint condition.
