This old, heavy glass container probably held swabs or tongue depressors in its day. It stands 10.5" inches tall. Consisting of a heavy ribbed glass jar with a nickel plated "lift", it is in EXCELLENT condition, showing no wear at all, other than small specs of rust inside (on the lift basket). This nickel plate has a nice patina from age, which adds much character to this piece. This dispenser could make a perfect "straw dispenser" in your diner kitchen, as well. Great piece of nostalgia.
