This big plastic letter "A" was used on the marquee in front of the now defunct Cine' Capri theater that stood on the southwest corner of Camelback Road and 24th street in Phoenix, Arizona. The Cine' Capri made it's debut in 1966 and, after a failed signature drive to save it, was demolished in 1998 to make way for office buildings. Included in our photos, is an exterior shot of the theater and a photo of the old Marquee sign. We attended a sale of Cine' Capri items, back in 1998, and purchased many items including several dozen marquee letters. All was sold long ago, with the exception of this 10" red translucent plastic letter. We kept this in our collection until now. This is a 3-dimensional letter with raised edges and formed clips on the back side. It is marked "Adler Silhouette Letter Company". It is in NEAR MINT condition with no cracks or chips. We will include a letter of authenticity on our letterhead, to accompany this neat piece of Phoenix history.
