Old store display cases are pretty much all the same, but on occasion we run across something with some mid century styling. This classy little case was probably used in a small boutique such as a beauty salon or jewelry store. It is in great condition, measuring 48 inches long x 36 inches tall x 17 inches deep. The actual glass covered display area is 48 inches long x 9 inches tall x 12 inches deep. There is a glass door for back loading. The glass case has a wood and metal bottom and is supported by two, slightly curved, wooden leg/brackets with a blond ashen finish. The lock on the glass door is incomplete, without a key and does not latch correctly but will stay closed. It can be opened and closed with a screw driver, but a locksmith could work up something a bit better. Otherwise this case is in NEAR MINT condition and would be perfect in a mid century home to display personal jewelry.
