Up for your consideration is a hand painted - hand made FURNITURE STORE DISPLAY SIGN from the 1930s or 40s. It is made of poster board. Some of the designs are inlaid with various color poster board. Some letters are cut out and added on top of surface for a 3-Dimensional affect. The sign measures 14" inches wide x 22" inches tall and is easel backed to sit on counter top. It reads, "This 4 piece bedroom suite in Maple, Walnut or Mahogany, $79". The sign is intact and in fairly good condition considering that it is 70-80 years old. There is a good deal of light soiling on the surface from years of storage and the two (2) bottom corners are missing tiny pieces - nothing major - see detail photos. An amazing piece of vintage advertising with an Art Deco flair.
